Preamble
This post is a narrative of my journey away from Adobe Lightroom Classic and CC to other applications and photography workflows. There will be no specific details given, just the ‘big picture’. The specifics of my workflows are tuned for the way I think, I strongly urge you to tune things laid out below to your specific needs, not mine.
Background
In October 2015… I became an amateur photographer. My Significant Other had talked me into visiting an abandoned golf course that was slowly rebuilt as housing and the course itself wasn’t fully gone, just left with minimal upkeep where they didn’t build housing. I took a jpeg only (dang you past self!) of a squirrel and ’the rest is history’ as some would say.

Figure 1: The Controllers
Changelog
2023-12-31
Added GameSir x2 Pro
Added Hori Split Pad JoyCons
Added BinBok DOYOKY Classic JoyCons
Added MayFlash Magic-S Pro 2
Added JoyCon config
Added Warframe config
2023-03-12
Controller: Add Scuff Instinct pro
Controller: Add Kishi v2
Elite Series 2: Flip primary/shifted right stick main Elite Series 2 control config for smoother default motion with option to ’look fast’ if needed
No Man’s Sky: Add in-game config
Destiny 2 config: Re-jigger class and grenades such that there is less shoulder tapping/holds. This requires 4 paddles and is a direct reaction to the Strand Destiny element class
Destiny 2 general: The 4 paddle requirement for Destiny is optional and the original config has been retained as it does work but is less efficient than the 4 paddle update below
Destiny 2 in-game config: Update KemoNine configs to reflect changes once Strand launched in Destiny
General: Cleanup config sections so they now collapse down for easier scanning and reading
What Is Below
I initially intended this post be a guide and review on getting controller gaming to be more accessible. Rather than drone on with too many thousands of words, I felt this post should be condensed into something of a reference and highlights reel and it still ended up being a longer read than I expected.

I bought an ez Share sd card (link) recently. The 32gb model (its white with orange and gray text) from a reseller on ali express to be specific. It’s been an intersting sd card to play with and deserves some attention.
Before I go into what ive found so far with this card…
BE CAREFUL AS IT MAY NOT WORK AT ALL
The docs for the card have a very specific camera support chart and even the first camera I tried requires the camera to be powered via usb before it’ll provide the sd card enough power to work. This is a well known and well advertised on the website and frequently asked questions pages. please mind this fact.

I’ve never hid the fact I try to make my ‘stuff’ accessible for
folks. It’s A Thing for me and I’ve spent considerable time working on
this blog to maximize it’s utility and accessibility.
I should be in generally good shape overall and I wanted to share a few links for how I pulled this off.
I ran ARC Toolkit (link) as my first pass with WAVE (link) as a second pass. I also looked at axe (link) but have not run it locally yet. These tools seem to give good results on the whole and will cover the core needs from what I can figure out so far.
Add way to hide images without alt-text / descriptions

Added way to hide boosts via css

Preface
I’ve not hidden the fact I find the latest Mastodon 4.0.x UI a lesson in terrible UX and reduced accessibility. This post is everything I’ve managed to put together to make the latest Mastodon UI more usable. Please borrow whatever you need from the below.

The idea that you could have a Digital BuJo still makes my brain hurt a bit.
Especially given organizers still universally stink (link), I still have an analog EDC (link) and I’m still using my bujo riff (link) at the core of my now digital organizer.
Yes: I switched my analog BuJo to digital and I still use an analog notebook daily. I still write in the rain (link), use some odd discoveries (link) and broke a habit or two using the anti-bad habit notebook (link).

Forward
I was recently reminded of the analog life I lead and how that’s evolved over the years since I first wrote about the topic. After some review and reading I can safely say: that’s a different topic. What I did notice is that I’ve never discussed just how I manage inflows of information and manage things I want to retain long term.

Sexy
I used to sleep without a pillow for many years. I hate foam pillows that much. I’d rather sleep with my head in the dirt than use a foam pillow.
Down pillows changed things. I started using a pillow again.
Feathers!
Almost 2 decades ago I was visting a “camp” (a cabin with fire, walls, a roof and basic plumbing) with a friend and was given a down pillow to sleep upon. That pillow changed everything. I bought it from my friend and used it for years before it finally was worn out completely.
